Core and Mobility Class
This class, designed by Dr Robert Cooper, will specifically target core strength, balance, flexibility and mobility. The regular class participant could expect to see improvements in posture, reduced joint stiffness/weakness-related aches and pains, as well as improved steadiness during day to day activities. Suitable for all levels of fitness and ages, the class will incorporate a range of activities to cover: suspension training, body weight, dynamic stretches and balance.
This class, designed by Dr Robert Cooper, employs a range of step, body weight and weight-based exercises with an aim to improve cardiovascular and muscular endurance exercise ability. Although this class holds a certain intensity, it can be adapted to all fitness levels.
This class, designed by Dr Robert Cooper, is a blend of the Core and Mobility Class and the Fitness Class designed to improve all aspects of fitness (coordination, balance, strength, endurance and flexibility). Suitable for any fitness level, the class consists of a 15-minute build-up focusing on movement and dynamic stretching to warm up the muscles and fire up the central nervous system. This is will prepare the body for the 30 minutes of intensive exercise using kettlebells, dumbbells, medicine balls, plyometrics and body weight. A 10 to 15 minute cool down will follow.

PERSONAL TRAINER INFORMATION
Dr Robert Cooper is our resident personal trainer and fitness class instructor at Huddersfield Lawn Tennis and Squash Club.
Robert is highly qualified holding a PhD in Sports Nutrition, Exercise and Supplementation and a degree in Food, Nutrition and Health Bsc (Hons) as well as a Level 3 (REPs), personal trainer qualification. Robert has gained a lot of experience from working in the fitness industry since 2005 and in sports science academia between 2010 to 2014, publishing from his research projects.
