This class is designed to promote cardiovascular fitness. The class utilises high-intensity body-weight activities such as burpees, squat jumps and other heart pounding exercises!
Full Body Circuits
This class challenges the whole body in a variety of ways. The class will include weight based, body weight and movement based exercises. Designed to promote full body strength, coordination and fitness.
Designed with full body strength in mind, the class will use a variety of weights and exercises to strengthen not only the muscles but connective tissues and bone as well. This is still a circuits class so you will get good cardiovascular workout, so don’t be put off if you you don’t tend to work with weights.
Please note – the exercises will frequently change, allowing the body to adapt to new challenges. The classes will include a 10 minute warm up, 40 minutes of exercise and a 10 minute cool down. The classes can be tailored to a range of fitness levels but if you are unsure don’t hesitate to get in touch with our personal trainer.
Suitable for any fitness levels, this class is designed to improve all aspects of fitness. Consisting of a 15 minute build-up focussing on movement and dynamic stretching to warm up the muscles. This is will prepare the body for the 30 minutes of intensive exercise using kettlebells, dumbbells, medicine balls and body weight. A 10 to 15 minute cool down will follow.
The class aims to improve: coordination, balance, strength, endurance and flexibility.

PERSONAL TRAINER INFORMATION
Dr Robert Cooper is our new personal trainer and fitness class instructor at Huddersfield Lawn Tennis and Squash Club.
Robert is highly qualified holding a PhD in Sports Nutrition, Exercise and Supplementation and a degree in Food, Nutrition and Health Bsc (Hons) as well as a Level 3 (REPs), personal trainer qualification. Robert has gained a lot of experience from working in the fitness industry since 2005 and in sports science academia between 2010 to 2014, publishing from his research projects.
